প্রস্তুতি

সাকশন করা
- আপনার মুখের সাহায্যে সাকশন করার জন্য নজলের (মুখের অংশ) প্রান্তটি আপনার মুখে রাখুন।
- অ্যাসপিরেটরের নাকের অংশটি (যে অংশটি শিশুর নাকে প্রবেশ করবে) শিশুর নাকের ছিদ্রে আলতো করে রাখুন। খুব গভীরে প্রবেশ করাবেন না; শুধুমাত্র নাকের বাইরের অংশে আলতো করে ধরুন যাতে একটি সিল তৈরি হয়।
- এবার আপনার মুখ দিয়ে ধীরে ধীরে শ্বাস টানুন (সাকশন করুন)। এতে সর্দি বা শ্লেষ্মা রিজার্ভারে চলে আসবে।
- ফ্লো ফিল্টার থাকায় সর্দি আপনার মুখে আসবে না, এটি রিজার্ভারেই জমা হবে।
- প্রয়োজন হলে একই প্রক্রিয়া অন্য নাকের ছিদ্রেও পুনরাবৃত্তি করুন।
পর্যবেক্ষণ
- রিজার্ভারটি স্বচ্ছ হওয়ায় সাকশন করার সময় সর্দির পরিমাণ ও অবস্থা দেখা যায়।
- এতে বুঝতে সুবিধা হয় যে কতটা সর্দি বের হয়েছে এবং আরও সাকশন দরকার আছে কিনা।
পরিষ্কার করা
- প্রত্যেকবার ব্যবহারের পর অ্যাসপিরেটরের সমস্ত অংশ খুলে গরম সাবান পানি দিয়ে ভালোভাবে পরিষ্কার করুন।
- ব্রাশ দিয়ে ভেতরের টিউবও পরিষ্কার করুন।
- পরিষ্কার করার পর সব অংশ ভালোভাবে শুকিয়ে শুষ্ক ও নিরাপদ স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন।
গুরুত্বপূর্ণ টিপস ও সতর্কতা
- শিশুরা সাধারণত নাক সাকশন করতে পছন্দ করে না এবং কাঁদতে পারে। এটি স্বাভাবিক। সাকশন শেষে শিশুকে আদর করে শান্ত করুন।
- শিশুর নাকের টিস্যু নরম থাকে, তাই খুব জোরে বা খুব ঘন ঘন সাকশন করবেন না। দিনে সর্বোচ্চ ৩–৪ বার যথেষ্ট।
- শিশুকে খাওয়ানোর আগে সাকশন করলে শ্বাস নিতে ও খেতে সুবিধা হয়।
- শিশুর সর্দি খুব বেশি হলে বা শ্বাস নিতে কষ্ট হলে অবশ্যই ডাক্তারের পরামর্শ নিন।
